The Point: The First Kiss!

Ah, first kisses are so much fun to write and I never cease to be amazed by how different each and everyone is. It depends upon the characters and the setting and I never get bored of getting my characters to actually lock lips.

Things were a bit different in The Point. For a start one of the characters is a Vampire. Hugh comes to Elizabeth's aid when she trips and twists her ankle in a storm. He takes her back to his home and helps her change into clean clothes. With the two in such close quarters it's not long until their lips meet in their very first kiss.

Their faces were so close that she couldn’t help looking up at his lips. They curled into a little smile, and she knew she only had to lean forward and they would kiss. She leant forward, not out of choice but because she had lost concentration. Hugh’s hands came up to her sides to steady her body, and his lips came down to agitate her spirit.

She gasped. His lips were as icy as his hands, and they were demanding. They undulated and coaxed the kiss from her own lips. Her mind spun as her body reacted. Her hands ran up and down the front of his body. They slipped under the heavy material of his jacket then traced his hard torso through the silken material of his shirt.
