I was looking at necklaces with a purple slab of agate stone, amethyst like in nature. From touching the object a story seed took off in my imagination and Raynia's Magic was born. Raynia's Magic ties into a full length novel I have as a work in progress. Raynia is one of the customers in the store Salynne's Crystals and Thyme. She has a cameo appearance as an unnamed customer in the work in progress. Thinking about her touching the stone made it all come together for this novellette telling her story.
