Into the Fire
by Cherie Marks
(This post is adapted from a post I did on http://www.asscheekangels.blogspot.com where a group of writers 'write by the seat of our pants.')

You don't have to be a male model to rule my world.  I'm drawn more to the mind.  A creative-minded brainiac gets me going quicker than anyone.  But it doesn't hurt if he has a great smile and bedroom eyes, if you know what I mean.  Inspiration comes from many, many places.

For example, Into the Fire is about two competing chefs. Who can really resist a man in an apron? Especially if he's wearing little else and catering to my foodie needs. So I painstakingly pored over images, hoping to get some sizzling pictures to inspire my hash-slinging hero until I finally found just the right ones. Here are just a couple of the too-hot-for-my-kitchen top chefs I came across:

Rocco Dispirito

...................................................................................................SamTalbot

Jeff McInnes

Bryan Voltaggio

Oh, my, is it hot in here, or is it just that chefs wear too many clothes? But what exactly is the point? The need to give my fully visualized characters their HEA, of course.

Okay, okay, I've "researched" enough.

But before I go, any other chefs warm your burners?

Okay, that second guy is hot!! How about Rob Rainford? He's looking mighty fine himself, wish I could post a pic, but I'm a tech idiot.

Oh, yeah...I remember those luscious chefs on the ACA blog. They're still looking good. I can't wait to read the book.

mnj, I sooo have had a huge crush on Sam Talbot since I first watched him on Top Chef. Had to Google Rob Rainford--can I just say, what a gorgeous smile!!

Maria D, Tyler seems so full of energy and fixes great food. What's not to like?

Lori, so glad you stopped by *waves madly*. Yes, I decided to recycle some purty pics for this post. I'm back to reading Someday Somebody, and I'm having a hard time because all I want to do is READ YOUR BOOK. I put it as my current read on Goodreads. I'll keep you updated.

Cherie, Yummy-looking chefs you've tracked down. I must admit I don't watch the cooking shows, so I can't answer your quetion--except I'm perfectly willing to go on a chef-evalu restaurant circuit some weekend. LOL.

I have to say guy #2 (Sam Talbot) is my fave! That is just what I need, a hot guy that cooks, and one that cleans too!

I have to vote for Sam too. I'm glad they keep bringing him back for other shows. I'll even admit Gordon Ramsey catches my eye, but I think it's more ballsy attitude than anything.
Great post, Cherie. I can't wait until your book is out! Don't worry about adding me to the drawing.
