Lucky Spider?

If you see a spider on Halloween, it’s thought to be the spirit of a loved one watching over you.
Don’t squash it!!! (Do as I say, not as I do. Being an arachnophobic, I would find it very hard not to squish a spider if I saw one lurking close on Halloween, or otherwise.)

I'll settle for a compromise...I hope to not SEE any spiders then unless it's a costumed one. I'd be very tempted to squash it. I didn't know that before.

I think that some aracnid lover started this nasty rumor to prevent the annihilation of house spiders. I'm not buying the story & will continue to squash any spider stupid enough to take up residence in my house. If I see them outside, they are free to continue to spin their webs.

I didn't know that one, not a fan of spiders, so they have to take their chances in my house *L*

Spiders are taking their chances in my house, as well. I think it's the fact that they have eight eyes. Eight creepy little eyes staring right at you. Bleh.

Spiders are not my favorite but I hate killing anything. Make my hubby do it.

I avoid spiders at all cost. The only one I allowed to continue taking up space was a artist spider and only because it was outside. It eventually moved on, leaving it's egg sack (shudder). I very carefully removed the egg sack and relocated to the back porch of the empty house next door. I hope that scored me some "luck" points, LOL.
