Good Morning! And Welcome to the Party!

Hi guys! Thank, lovely ladies of Goddess Fish Promotions for having me on the blog today. I'll be talking about my new release STUDENSTEIN, sharing excerpts and telling you all about the silliness that is me. :)

To get this thing started, here's a little about the book...

A man built for sex… A woman who wants more…

Freedom fighter Shani Brown is determined to drag the ungrateful Royce back to her team in Seattle. Despite his denial of mistreatment, she wants to give him a chance at a better life. Due to her horrific past as an unlicensed love-bot, Shani never plans to have sex again. But Royce’s makers punish him remotely with crippling pain. His only escape is to orgasm. Never one to turn her back on a job, Shani soon finds herself servicing him—and soon after, caring for him.

Love-bot Royce Harden wasn’t looking to be rescued, especially not from the San Francisco BDSM club where he was having a perfectly good time. But rescued he was—by a hellcat bent on delivering him to her people. As Royce starts to trust Shani, he begins to dream of freedom. But freedom comes with a price. Royce must face his vanity, his makers, and even the loss of his sexual upgrades if he’s going to be the man Shani deserves.

Sounds like a great concept. I bet Royce was not at all happy to be rescued. Thanks

Shani sounds like a strong character but I also like she that has a vulnerable side. It's a great balance.

Thanks for the comments, Maria and Na. I loved writing Shani, but it was my editor at Ellora's Cave, Grace Bradley, who really helped bring her to life. When writing Shani, I had this whole heart-wrenching backstory in mind, but I created her so tight-lipped that in my original manuscript, her vulnerability didn't shine through. Grace encouraged me to open her up a bit and to share with the reader everything that was in my mind. It made a tremendous difference in the development of that character1

I don't think I have ever read a story about a love-bot before. Wherever did you come up with this idea? Will you be having more in this series?

Darn, Google just posted these to my home page. I don't know if the contest is still going, but my fingers are crossed. Starbucks and Studenstein sound like a great combo!
