Almost Halloween!

Man, I love October.

There's so many great things going on this month. Yesterday marked the opening of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Feel yourselves up, ladies and gents. Today is Name Your Car Day.

Yes, that's right. Go name your cars. I'll wait. ... Ready for mine? The Mustang is Stella and the truck is Fred. October 5th is National Storytelling Day. *evil laugh* Everybody is going to hate me on Wednesday. And let's not forget No Beard Day on the 18th, followed immediately by Evaluate Your Life Day.

Perhaps the greatest holiday in October is Halloween. Pumpkins and ghosts and zombies and skeletons. Who can ask for more? When else is it acceptable to dress yourself in the most imaginative thing you can dream up, and walk around your neighborhood or office in said costume?

But what if your life was in danger? That's where I put the main character in my Halloween release. Her name is Billie, and when her nightmares become reality she has nowhere to hide. Here's a little more about Siege of Shadows, coming October 29th from Silver Publishing:

A neighbor, arrested, covered in his wife’s blood. A wolf stalking her. To top it all off, the new neighbor is trying to kill her—in her nightmares.

Billie is having one hell of a time with the new guy on the block. She can’t decide if she hates him or wants to take him to bed, for starters. And every time she dreams about him, she wakes up with dried blood on her body.

There’s only one explanation, but even Billie thinks she’s crazy for believing it. No way her neighbor is trying to kill her.

Right?

If you'd like to learn more about Billie, or read an excerpt, check back later today and I'll have one posted for you. Or you can more info on my website and at my blog. I can also be found on Facebook, Twitter, Goodreads, and by email! Thanks for dropping by!

Thanks! I actually posted this on the wrong day, apparently. The excerpt is now live. Sorry about that.
