10 Reasons to fall in love with my hero, Jake Emerson

1. He’s charming to a fault. To the point where no woman can resist him. It can act as a detriment at times, but when Jake gets Jody alone, how can she say no?

2. A man of the world. Yes, Jake’s been around the block – of so many cities, he can’t remember them all. In addition to the ones Jody writes for him, he has many interesting tales of his own. Some may not be fit for print. *grins*

3. A man for all occasions. Jake’s every bit as comfortable filling in as a breakfast server as he is in a tux accompanying his heroine to a semiformal event. And looks knock-your-socks-off gorgeous performing them all.

4. A skillful motorcycle driver. There’s just something about a guy on a motorcycle. He’s already sexy, but the way Jake handles his Harley would make any woman want to curl up behind him.

5, A man of mystery. Despite showing up from nowhere, fully informed about the character of Jake Emerson, he avoids direct answers about his past. He insists Jody knows the truth in her heart.

6. A sensitive listener. One of those guys who knows what a woman’s thinking, sometimes before she does. And knows what she needs.

7. A man who’s adaptable as necessary.

8. His muscles aren’t merely for show. Some heroes rely on weapons, or magic, or some external means of defending themselves. Jake relies on primal instinct, and inherent power.

9. Did I mention gorgeous? Any woman could look at that man for hours and not become bored.

10. He’ll do anything for the woman he loves. Circumstances may become dire, but Jake will come through no matter what, putting himself at risk without thought.

In other words, a hero to make you swoon. *sigh*  Speaking of swooning, I do every time I look at this gorgeous cover! I love love love it.

Romancing the Hero released just this week from The Wild Rose Press!   *throws confetti and pours champagne for everyone*

Here’s the blurb:
For romance writer Jody Feather, love is wonderful—on the page.  Her books are instant bestsellers and readers love her delectable hero, Jake Emerson. He’s the kind of man who knows exactly how to please a woman. The kind of man who doesn’t really exist.  Or at least not for Jody—she’s too busy writing about delicious heroes to find one of her own.
When a man shows up on her doorstep claiming to be Jake Emerson, Jody’s hormones shoot sky high.  This would-be hero is everything she imagined him to be, and when Jody takes him to her book signing, readers swoon.  But Jake only has eyes—and compliments—for her.  Before long, Jody stops doubting his story and starts doubting her sanity.
When Jake convinces her she is overdue for love, Jody begins to wonder—instead of just writing about adventures, has she conjured one?
