I have been accosted by Manatees at the beach, watch and Alligator take down a bird in the canal behind my house and bumped into few famous people at my local grocery store.
Living in the Sun Shine State is like living an alternate universe, I don't think I will ever get used to.

I have family in Florida though I've never been there before. I'd die if I "bumped" into anyone famous here in NC! I'd love to know more about those that you "bumped" into :) And an alligator??? NO THANKS!!! LOL! :)

I have bumped shopping carts with Tommy Lee Jones and Nacho Estrada (The guy in the Ralph Lauren Polo Commercials) Vanilla Ice Just to Name a few.
The first time I saw Nacho in the store I was wearing a pair of PJ bottoms with snow men on them and an old T-shirt. Needless to say I wanted to die. lol
LOVE Vanilla Ice!! Totally rocked out to him growing up.

I lived in FL for several years (in Tampa & St. Pete). I've seen lots of alligators and dolphins, but no manatee...and very few famous people. That's OK...I probably wouldn't recognize most actors or models--even if I ran into them with a shopping cart!
