The horses in my stories.

Harri (Pentrepiod Sovereign) who starred
as Myrddin's horse in 'Dancing With Fate'
Even in my futuristic stories I usually manage to have a horse or two. Horses are an important means of transport of the inhospitable mountains of Niflheim in  'Children Of the Mist' and two horses feature in my recently re-released fantasy 'Dancing With Fate'.

I thought it was time the horses had their moment in the 'spotlight'!

Sally who starred as Terpsichore's horse in 'Dancing with Fate'
I
Flying T'pau  (the one with the white rump). So far I haven't featured her in a story but she'll  feature in the Western historical romance I'm hoping to write soon

Don't forget - anyone who comments will be entered into a draw to win a download of Dancing With Fate. (or another of my books if you've already read it.)

Horses remind me of the hot cowboys I read that know how to ride(or so I've read)!

Pretty horses, even though I don't really like them and I am allergic to them. Which really sucks cause Kentucky has sooooo many.

Hello mnjcarter, thanks so much for commenting - I agree, I started reading westerns because I was interested in the horses as well as the cowboys who rode them. I love the American West, and even ride Western rather than English style. Western riding is becoming very popular over here now.

Hi June, I'm sorry to hear that you're allergic to horses, that's a shame, because they're wonderfully intelligent, sensitive animals when you get to know them. I've never even visited Kentucky but I do know it's famed for its beautiful horses.
Thanks so much for your comment.

Hello Dawn,

Thanks for stopping by and commenting - how wonderful to be born into a horse racing family. My family loves all animals but I'm the only 'horse mad' one and have had to make many sacrifices to buy and keep my horses but they're worth it, I love them to bits.

I actually enjoy mucking out stables - it's very conducive to thinking and where some of my best stories have been formed in my mind.
