Christmas, Demons, And Old Friends

Many readers ask me why I feature demons in my Christmas stories.

One of the reasons is because these demons are old friends of mine. Maximus and Kayla from Demon on the Dance Floor appear in both Clothing Optional and Bitsy's Christmas Demon. They're busy characters and I LOVE visiting with them over the length of these Christmas stories. While I'm in their world, I meet with Taurinus from Demon Of Convenience and big, bad Augustine from This Enchanted Demon. It is like a school reunion but with only the very, very BAD kids attending. They're spiking the punch, dancing on the stage, and mooning the teachers.

(grinning)

Yeah, it sounds like a Changeling party!!!

Anyhoo... I love spending time with the more established, already published characters. They're comforting friends (yes, even Augustine - he's not ALL bad... mostly bad but...).

And isn't that what the holidays are all about -- spending time with loved ones?

Clothing Optional

Every Christmas, an ancient demon stalks and murders fairies. Until
this killer is apprehended, each fairy is assigned a demon protector.
Otho volunteers to protect Prism, the most uptight fairy on the face of
the planet.

Or so he thinks...

When Otho arrives at Prism's house three hours early and spots his
blue-haired fairy streaking down the street completely nude, he realizes
his perfect fairy is only perfect for him.

Unfortunately, he is not the only demon with eyes on her bare buttocks.

I love BAD, bad is definitely good!
I think all the best male characters are somewhat bad, that's part of what makes them so irresistable! Gives them that magnetic sex appeal! Going to have to check out This Enchanted Demon, Augustine sounds like my kind of demon.
