I'm not so much a geek, but I am very interested in science. In fact, in my latest scifi writing (the finale of the HUMAN TRIAL trilogy) I borrowed a few ideas on space travel from Stephen Hawking to explain how the antagonist aliens came to earth.
That sounds like a fascinating book. I'll have to look it up.
