The Hades Squad books began innocuously enough. My publisher Loose-Id had a call out for Christmas song-themed books. The Twelve Days of Christmas got stuck in my head and - for some odd reason - I decided to write A Paratrooper in A Pear Tree.
As Paratrooper evolved, it turned out that the hero, Lincoln aka Sinner, was part of a SEAL/Master Parachutist team called The Hades Squad who did charity jump events around the country. The team are all known by ‘Hades-themed’ nicknames: Sinner, Devil, Lucifer, Demon, and Satan.
Sadly, I have only one tale left to write – Satan’s.

It was totally shocking to win a best book of 2009 for the fourth book I'd ever written. Too bad no one bothered to tell me until 9 months later - I was so shocked!
