Good
morning and happy Sunday, everyone!
I’m
Elyzabeth M. VaLey, erotic romance author, music junkie and passionate pet lover.
I just released my latest novel published by Evernight Publishing, The Mercenary Slave, book 2 of The Mercenary
Tales, this past month and I just started my two weeks’ vacation, yesterday!
Hurrah! Since I'm in a celebratory mood, I'm going to hold a little contest: Just leave a comment on my posts (with your email) throughout the day and you will enter to win a copy of The Mercenary Slave.*
My plans
for this holiday are quite simple: relax, read, write and maybe get some things
done around the house (like clean up the garden and the basement…ugh).
I’d love to
go traveling, but I went to Berlin a few months ago and the economy is a bit
tight right now, especially in Spain, which is where I live. Since I can’t travel, I will be reading and
writing. That’s one of the things I love
about words: they can transport you
anywhere!
For
instance, when Wybert, the main character of my recent release The Mercenary
Slave, ends up in Väinämöin
I was imagining the snowy landscapes of northern Europe. Finland, Sweden, Norway are countries which I’d
love to visit. Especially Finland, as most of my favorite music groups come from there.
What about
you, what countries do you dream of visiting?
Blurb:
After losing his best friend, Wybert is forced to give up his life as a mercenary and become a pleasure slave. The daunting task becomes harder than expected when the attraction to his slave master goes beyond the bedchamber.
Izz-Sarava was content with his life as the Zshanti’s slave master until the new serf appeared. Somehow, under his presence, his control slips and his heart becomes exposed.
As their feelings develop, will they be able to overcome a past that haunts them to pursue a future together?
*Over 18 years of age, only.

WELL...I'd love to visit Spain where you are--Madrid, Barcelona, Bilboa, Sevilla, Valencia (and have some Paella), Santiago...Maybe you can enjoy a "staycation." Do they have those in Spain? You take time enjoying the sights in your own town/state.

I have been to Spain, studied there for 6 months in my younger days. Loved it. Economy here is not much better. School has started so no more vacation for me. I would love to read more though. Enjoy your time off.

@Catherine: I live in Madrid :) I hadn't heard the term "staycation" before. I'm going to have to look into it,sounds like fun!
@Debby: Where in Spain did you study? Economy is bad world wide, but in Spain things are going down the drain fast. Ugh ><
@Carin: Thanks! :)
