I'm back! Here, as promised, is my character interview of Susie White from my modern day Snow White and the Huntsman story, Susie White and the Right Hand Man.
Take it away, Susie!
So, Susie, can you tell us about yourself?
Sure. I'm Susie White – the heir to the lucrative confectionary company, White's Bites. I recently started University, but before then I was living at home with my father. He's now living there with my new stepmother. I miss my dad, but the same can't be said for my stepmother, Louise. She hates me with a passion, and I can't ever see that changing.
Why is that?
I can't really tell you that without giving away my story – and I don't think Lucy would be very happy about that. You'll just have to read it and find out.
Playing your cards close to your chest, huh? Ok. So, what about your love life?
Not much gets past you, huh? Yes, I'm currently dating. His name is Scott, and don't tell him I said this because he'll get a big head – but he's incredibly hot. I met him at my dad and Louise's wedding and it was love at first sight. For me, anyway. He always says the same, but you know how guys sometimes just tell you what they think you want to hear? Yeah, that. Lucy's seen Scott and she reckons he looks like this famous guy, Chris Hemsworth. Have you heard of him? Apparently he's in some film called Thor. I don't know what she's talking about, but she goes on about it a lot, so I thought I'd mention it.And how are things going with you two?
Great, thanks! We haven't been together that long, and we've been through some seriously scary stuff, but it seems to have brought us closer. He's a great guy, and I know that he'll look after me as much as he can. I think that makes my dad feel better because Louise does everything she can to stop us talking and seeing each other – so knowing Scott's there for me puts his mind at rest.
Scary stuff? Care to elaborate?
Again, I can't say too much without Lucy getting mad. But it's all to do with my stepmother. She's been out to get me ever since she met me, and let's just say that one of her evil plans almost succeeded, but Scott and I worked together to put a stop to it. I don't know what I would have done without him, to be honest. But my dad doesn't know anything about any of this, so don't tell him, okay? I don't know how to tell him what an evil witch his new wife is without breaking his heart. I'm sure I'll figure something out, eventually.
So what does the future hold for Susie White?
Well, I want to get my degree, then I'll have all the knowledge and qualifications to run White's Bites. That's if Louise will let me get anywhere near it. I'll just have to cross that bridge when I come to it. For now, I'm just studying hard and enjoying spending time with Scott. He's a great guy.
You already said that.
*blushes* What can I say? I'm loved up. Can you blame me? I mean, look at him!
