Growing up in small town America

When Belinda Stevens, a lawyer in Yazoo City, Mississippi, began writing a series of columns for The Yazoo Herald, she never dreamed folks would respond the way they have. "I hear all the time that the stories I write remind people of their childhood."

A collection of her columns has been assembled in a sweet little book entitled "Never Give a Cat a Poodle Cut and other stories about growing up in Yazoo City."

(Order it today from Amazon.com!)

The stories are often humorous, but some are a bit more serious as Stevens shares the secrets of life that her own parents shared with her.

Met with positive response from all who read it, "Never Give a Cat a Poodle Cut" is a reminder of life during a simpler time in small town America.
